With prayerful discernment, I announce my retirement from my position as Communications and Public Relations Director at Newport Central Catholic High School -- a great chapter that I enjoyed for 15 years. After my husband, Phil was diagnosed in 2017 with a rare neurodegenerative brain disease (current diagnosis is Corticobasal Degeneration or CBD), I knew God was calling me for other roles -- advocating and seeking the best possible care for his well-being while creating more quality time together. The support from Administration and my colleagues is so greatly appreciated!
I will continue to hold my position in the Development Department through the end of June.
As an alum, past parent, and employee, I am abundantly blessed by the many fabulous people I had the honor of being associated with over the years -- current and former faculty, staff, students, parents, alums, friends, associates, and affiliates of NCC -- my cup runneth over with gratitude and great pride for our beloved Newport Central Catholic — school on the Hill.
Through the intercession of St. John Baptist De La Salle and Our Lady of Providence (pray for us), I ask our dear Lord to continue to bless the Newport Central Catholic School Community with all that is good for His glory.
I Will Always Believe,
Communications and Public Relations Director
