MARCH FOR LIFE

 Three (3) buses will depart from Newport Central Catholic and head to Washington, D.C. in the early morning of January 17 to attend the annual March for Life Rally.      

The march commemorates the 46th anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion.

Nearly one hundred and thirty-five NCC students will join hundreds from the Diocese of Covington at the March for Life Rally. The group will attend Holy Mass prior to the March with Rev. Roger J. Foys, D.D., Bishop of Covington.

 On Friday, January 18, nearly one hundred and thirty-five NCC students and chaperons will join many thousands of pro-life marchers, including hundreds from the Diocese of Covington at the March for Life Rally.  The group will attend Holy Mass prior to the March with Rev. Roger J. Foys, D.D., Bishop of Covington.      

 Included on the agenda is a visit to the Arlington National Cemetery to witness the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and various memorials.

 The group will return to Newport Central Catholic on Saturday, January 19.
