Congratulations to NewCath Alums and current Thomas More College students, Freshman, Kendal Johnson, Juniors, Taylor Anne Walz and Jacob Hensley -- all three are alums of St Catherine of Siena and Newport Central Catholic -- nominated for the Campus Life and Leadership award.

What a great testament to their Catholic education and the educators who continue to support them along the way.

This year the award was presented to Taylor Anne Walz who has also been inducted as the 2018-2019 Senior Class President for Thomas More College.

Candidates were nominated by their peers for their leadership and involvement.
The criteria for this award involve demonstrated leadership in two or more co-curricular or extra-curricular programs; embodiment of the ideals expressed in the Thomas More College mission statement; creation of a positive campus environment for students to value more, engage more, and thrive more; manifestations of professionalism, respect for their community, and compassion towards others; and finally consistent support to enhance the student life experience.
