The Newport Catholic Class of 1961 Breakfast Club met on February 5th at Sis’s on Monmouth in Newport just as they do every first Monday of the month with little exception. Mike Murphy and classmates keep this tradition alive like other classes of OLP, NC, and NCC to stay in touch and continue the strong family bond that is formed on The Hill.
The following classmates were able to meet at this month’s breakfast:
Mike Murphy, Jack Schreiber, Norb Krebs, Adam Feinauer, Bob Rickling, Frank Beatsch, Paul Twehues, Steve Heeg, Jim Forte, Bob Venable, Tom Bittner, Jim Weber, Tony Neltner, John Kuntz, Bob Volmer, David Strickley, and John Hartman.
Sis’s on Monmouth owned by Sandy Schweitzer is a NCC hot spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner and night life. At the restaurant, multiple classes gather on a monthly basis and numerous alumni provide musical entertainment during the evenings.
Thank you to the Class of 1961 for keeping the tradition of Newport Central Catholic strong & to Sis’s for a place of gathering!
If your class gets together regularly, we want to know about it. Contact the Advancement Department and we’d be happy to stop out to get a picture for our community to see.
