STUDENTS “BREDS” FOR LIFE MEMBERS

HEAD TO WASHINGTON, D.C.

 MARCH FOR LIFE

Three (3) buses and two (2) passenger vans will depart from Newport Central Catholic and head to Washington, D.C. in the early morning of January 18 to attend the annual March for Life Rally.      

The march commemorates the 45th anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion.

 On Friday, January 19, nearly one hundred and sixty NCC students and chaperons will join many thousands of pro-life marchers, including hundreds from the Diocese of Covington at the March for Life Rally.  The group will attend the Solemn Opening Mass of the National Prayer Vigil for Life with Cardinal Timothy Dolan.    

 Included on the agenda is a visit to the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception and various memorials.

 The group will return to Newport Central Catholic on Saturday, January 20.
