SMITHSONIAN TRAVELING EXHIBITION: HOMETOWN TEAMS – April 29 - June 3
The Campbell County Library will be hosting the Smithsonian traveling exhibit Hometown Teams: How Sports Shape America. It will also be featuring a companion exhibit highlighting the City of Newport's Sports History. Newport Central Catholic's sports heritage will be honored in this exhibit. The exhibit runs April 29 - June 3 at the Newport Branch. We hope you will check out the exhibit!

HOMETOWN TEAMS – HOW SPORTS SHAPE AMERICA
The Exhibition will be housed in the Library’s new lower level programming and exhibition space, and will include an exhibit provided by the Smithsonian that reflects the impact of sports on American culture. Additionally, the Library is curating a companion exhibit to capture highlights of the sports history of Newport, Kentucky. Newport Central Catholic High School’s athletic program will be featured! A Kick-Off Event is scheduled for Saturday, April 29. Gold Star Chili will provide free Coneys from Noon-1:00 p.m. to those touring the exhibit.
